An Interesting Experience with English Writing

Learning English is not always easy for me, especially when it comes to writing essays. I remember my first time writing an English essay in school. It was a tough experience, but it taught me a lot about the importance of perseverance and practice.

One day, my teacher asked us to write a short essay about our favorite subject. I chose English because I thought it would be easier, but I quickly realized that I struggled with organizing my thoughts and using proper grammar. I started writing, but my sentences were all jumbled, and I couldn’t express my ideas clearly. I felt frustrated and thought maybe I wasn’t good at writing in English.

But then, my teacher gave me some feedback. She said my ideas were good, but I needed to work on my sentence structure and vocabulary. She suggested I read more English books and practice writing regularly. I took her advice seriously. Every night, I would read a few pages of an English book and try to write a short paragraph on what I read. I also asked my classmates to correct my essays so I could improve.

It wasn’t easy, but I kept going. After a few weeks of hard work, I wrote another essay. This time, I felt more confident. I carefully planned my essay, chose the right words, and made sure my sentences were clear. When I handed it in, my teacher and classmates praised me for my progress. I couldn’t believe how much I had improved!

Now, English writing has become one of my favorite activities. I enjoy sharing my thoughts in English, and I’m no longer afraid of making mistakes. I know that practice makes perfect, and I’m willing to keep trying to get better.
